Draga & Aurel

Draga & Aurel is a design and furniture studio founded in 2007 by Draga Obradovic and Aurel K. Basedow. With a background in art, fashion, and craftsmanship, Draga & Aurel are renowned for their ability to combine original methods with an artistic approach to materials and composition.

Draga & Aurel began their journey by reinventing vintage furniture and objects in their own unique style. In 2019, exploring the use and meaning of transparency in art and design, the duo surprised the public at Milan Design Week with a new personal project: the Transparency Matters collection. Critically acclaimed, the collection aroused interest from prestigious galleries. Pioneers of upcycling in the design industry, they have formed important partnerships with furniture companies such as Baxter and Wall&Deco, Visionnaire and Gallotti&Radice.
