Daniel Rode

Daniel Rode was born in France and studied architecture and interior design at the Ecole Boulle in Paris. After working as a luggage and accessories designer for the fashion industry in China and Hong Kong, he founded his own design studio in Paris in 1992, specialising in interior design. In 1999, he moved to Italy and founded Rode Design srl.

His creations are a combination of robust realism and ethereal lightness, thanks to the use of ductile materials and unconventional methods. He works with several prestigious brands and all the pieces he designs are based on the human body, which is modelled in an ergonomic way to guarantee maximum functionality. His meticulous research has been rewarded with important international awards, testifying to his great experience and expertise in the field of design.
