Kensaku Oshiro

Kensaku Oshiro was born in Okinawa, Japan, in 1977. After receiving a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan in 1999, he began working with various design studios. In 2004, he joined Lissoni Associati studio, where he worked until mid-2012. Later, he moved to London to collaborate with the BarberOsgerby studio. In June 2015, he opened his studio in Milan. Oshiro has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, receiving prestigious international awards, including first prize in the Salone Satellite “Design Report Award” in 2006, first prize in the “Cristalplant Design Contest” and the “Gandia Blasco Design Contest” in 2012, as well as two special mentions in the “Young & Design Award.” He has collaborated with many renowned companies in the design industry.
