Marcel Wanders

Marcel Wanders is a Dutch designer, born in Boxtel in 1963. He graduated from the Arnhem Art Institute in 1988 and became famous for his Knotted Chair, created for the Dutch brand Droog, and exhibited in the permanent collection at MoMA.

He works and collaborates with numerous leading international companies. In 2000, he founded Moooi, where he is also the art director.
