Stefano Giovannoni

Stefano Giovannoni was born in La Spezia and graduated in architecture in Florence. He began his teaching activity at the same university and then continued it in other Italian cities. Eventually, he moved to Milan, where he still lives and works today. 

Throughout his career, he has received significant awards for creations that have become iconic over the years. Also referred to as the ‘Midas King of design’, he created the famous collection of plastic products for Alessi and the very famous and much-imitated Bombo stool for Magis, to name but a few.
