Features of Spider by Lodes
Spider’s spherical shape, with a diameter of 12 cm, is made of steel and offers a choice of seven finishes for the pendant version and four for the ceiling version. A thin chrome-plated aluminium ring frames the convex glass lens, maintaining a harmonious visual continuity with the rest of the surface.
This compact and highly functional lamp allows the light to be directed by rotating the diffuser up to 360° or tilting it from top to bottom up to 90°. Spider is suspended by a thin power cable and houses an LED, chosen from warmer (2700K) or cooler (3000K) light temperatures.
The convex glass lens diffuses direct light without glare, with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 90 that reflects the natural colours of objects without altering them.
By adjusting the angle of the diffuser, it is possible to direct the LED light beam to specific points of interest. When mounted in different available clusters, Spider can create a variety of light patterns, from functional to decorative, all easily dimmable. This versatility is further amplified by the availability of a ceiling-mounted version. The simplicity of Spider’s spherical shape emphasises its ability to adapt to different lighting needs.
How to use it
Spider by Lodes is an extraordinarily versatile lamp that combines elegance with visual comfort. Whether used individually or as part of cluster compositions, Spider blends harmoniously into any room.
The radial cluster system allows several points in an interior to be illuminated, decentralising the light beam and allowing each diffuser to be oriented according to preference, offering a broad customisation of the surroundings. With Lodes’ Spider lamp, form meets function to create a tailor-made lighting experience.
